connectome (2016)

Visual artist Julian Opie's LED installations served as the point of departure for 'Connectome,' exploring connections on various levels. Embroidered pedestrian figures appear on garments within this series, taking influence from Opie's signature motif. A connectome is a map of the neural connections in the brain, and makes an appearance on tags at the backs of the garments.
